Sumit Kumar

Hi, there!

Hi, I am Sumit, a senior year undergraduate student in the CSD programme at IIIT-Hyderabad. I am advised by Dr. Ponnurangam Kumaraguru in the Precog research group. I work across a broad range of areas in Machine Learning. My previous work focused on graph machine learning, particularly foundation models and knowledge graphs. More recently, I have been increasingly interested in AI safety, LLM evaluations, and relational learning.

I am also deeply passionate about football (soccer) and proudly represent my college as part of the IIIT-H football team. Apart from that, I have been doing Competitve Programming since middle school (retired now). Both these sports have been and continue to be a significant part of my life :)
